Camerhogne Park and the National Interest – Part 2

During his 2016 Budget Statement, the Hon. Prime Minister and Minister of Finance rocked the nation when he casually announced , “The Rivera Hotel is now being designed…………During this design phase, the investors have agreed to construct a new Camerhogne Park nearby and upgrade the vendors market and the basketball and tennis courts.” (our emphasis). The most logical conclusion that could be drawn by we the people and we the shareholders is that a commitment has been given to the investors re the control of Camerhogne Park, perhaps as far back as 2013 when the Riviera property was conveyed. By what process had any decision been arrived at? Was it that, once again, we the people were obstacle/impediments to cleared from the path of investors??!!
